I have met so many lovely ladies since I started scrapping and am constantly amazed at how willing people are to share their knowledge. I have been published a few times in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine and am currently on the design team at Wicked Princesses. I am so excited to be joining the A 2 Z Design Team and look forward to using their gorgeous products.

Introducing Irit

... Irit Shalom

Irit_2

My name is IRIT and I am from sunny ISRAEL. In my "real life" I am a dentist, but for the last 5-6 years I do it as a part time job, because I need some extra time for my scrapping and crafting addiction and I have a lot of fun doing something else after 25 years of dentistry. I have been married for 29 years to a retired high police officer, who is the full time family cook these days. I am a mom to 4 grown ups: 2 sons and twin daughters. The empty nest is probably the main reason for my obsession for crafting - finally I have some time for myself. My oldest son is an army officer, married and a Dad of my first grandson Omer. The second one is " a world traveler" - for the last 6 years after his army service he is out of Israel for at least 9 months a year- lives and works in Spain. My twins are in their last year of college and my major scrapbooking inspiration. I need to say that I have been totally addicted to crafting since I was a little girl. For many years it was a polymer clay and jewelry making, but after I saw a scrapbook layout for the first time in my life (only 5 years ago during my visit to USA), I finally understood that I am in love with paper. Today I mostly scrap and do altered art and less card making. My style is mostly shabby and vintage, but sometimes I move to other styles too, all, but clean and simple one. I have been a design team member in about 9-10 challenge blogs and was a guest designer on lots of others during the last years, but since a last 2 years I design for manufacturers only. Right now I am a permanent designer for UK chipboard company named Tando creative,Robin's Nest and Pretty Little Studio paper companies, Creative Inspirations Paint, Epiphany Crafts Tool company, embossing powders company and Inspired by Stamping stamp company. I was a DT member for Best Creation paper and Cherry Lynn Designs die company for a year term and a Guest Designer for several USA companies in the past. I was published in print in Israel several times and was published in every possible web magazine during the last years. Last, but not least- my other addiction is..... folk dancing. So if I am not in my crafting room- I am probably dancing. I am totally thrilled to be a member of this team.

Introducing Sandra

... Sandra Wilkinson

A little about me ... I am married with 2 children in early primary school, and we live in Brisbane. My husband and I work from home and live right across the road from the school, so we always seem to be there, helping out with one thing or another. We like to travel near and far when time and money permit. We love the beach and going camping. I like to cook and sew, and if there's any time left after that, I like languages and crossword puzzles.

I have always loved craft - first starting as a child with my mum - and now my kids love it too, which is great! Whether it's glue and paper, fabric and cotton, or beads and wire - I am happy! For the last few years, my craft has been in cardmaking and scrapbooking. I love to scrap as I think it is great to add the extra touches of colour, embellishments and journalling to photos that would otherwise end up in a box or album, or not even make it off the computer or disk! I love seeing the kids faces as they look through my albums, and can read about themselves as a baby, or see what little goodies I've included on their pages. Making cards is also a favourite of mine – seeing the joy a handmade card brings to the receiver is a wonderful compliment – it’s their own little piece of individual artwork.

I've been paper-crafting for about 4 years now, making cards, layouts and OTPs. I love to make handmade embellishments - from paper, card, felt, acetate, lace, recycled items, etc. But I still have so much stash from the early days when I bought stuff! Slowly making my way through it all - I find it so hard to throw anything out!! I also like to add a bit of dimension, whether it's with buttons, charms, flowers, beads or lace. My spellbinders get a good workout most days, along with my embossing folders too.

My blog is http://buttonsandbowsandmore.blogspot.com . I'm a member of a few forums and go by Sandra D (maiden name!).

I’m so lucky to have been on a number of other DT's for a few manufacturers, wholesalers and stores (online and physical). I've had a few projects published, but only submit periodically ... when I think I can handle lots of 'thanks but no thanks' email - LOL!

I am so happy that I found this craft - it's rewarding, relaxing and challenging - and a great break from the daily work on the computer!

Thanks so much for having me on the team and I look forward to getting to know everyone here!

Introducing Gracie

... Gracie Holzhauser

Gracie

My name is Gracie Holzhauser, I am from Tropical North Queensland (Townsville), a mother to 3 gorgeous kids and married to my very supportive hubby name Darryl for 21 years. I have been scrapping for over 5 years and when it comes to scrapbooking I love trying different styles and techniques and I am always looking for new subjects to scrap. I have to say, my favorite subject is my family, especially my children. I love using chipboards, flowers, blings and laces. Through scrapbooking I keep my memories alive but above all I get to be creative.

I am so proud and honored to be part of the A2Z Scraplets design team.

Introducing Samantha

... Samantha Bailey

Sam & Jayden - family trip to ayr dec 06 (492x640) (308x400)

I am a stay at home mum to my 2 beautiful children, Jayden (8) & Mackenzie (3 almost 4). I live in beautiful, sunny, North Queensland, just south of Townsville. I have been scrapbooking for just on 2 years now and although I have always been a crafty kind of person it was mostly limited to drawing and painting. I absolutely love that there are endless possibilities to scrapbooking, you can do whatever you want and that is fantastic. I still dabble in painting and drawing, I have even made the odd card here and there but keep coming back to scrapbooking, even if I do misplace my mojo every now and then. I also love that it gives me some "me" time away from my children :)

Introducing Holly

... Holly Connors

2011-10-20 21.01.33 (3)

My name is Holly and I’m from sunny Queensland. I am 28 and married to my partner Simon. I have dabbled in scrapbooking for a couple of years, however got completely addicted around a year ago when I decided I needed my own time consuming hobby to compete with my husband’s music commitments playing in a band. Now he tells me my hobby takes up more time than his... and is far messier! I love being inspired by blogs and playing along with challenges. I am always trying new techniques and styles and enjoy experimenting with different mediums.. although do find myself drawn to a bit of a shabby chic style a lot of the time. When I’m not scrapping, I work as the senior psychologist at a male high security correctional facility... so in a way... the scrapping keeps me sane! It is my way of chilling out after a long day of work and I love the opportunity to record precious memories to share with future generations. I’m also quite the off the page addict. I’m so happy to be joining the A 2 Z team and look forward to inspiring and being inspired by my fellow Scraplets addicts!

Introducing Amy

... Amy Prior

Amy prior

My name is Amy Prior and I reside on the Sunny Central Coast of NSW in Australia. My 2 girls are the main subjects of my Scrapbooking and I love using Girlie products! My scrapbooking life really began when I was 12. I used to keep a diary all through High School that I wrote in every day and included photos and memorabilia stuck to the pages and intricate doodling etc. This evolved back in 2006 when I was introduced to the real world of Scrapbooking via a Creative Memories party and I was hooked instantly. I immediately started googling and found lots of lovely sketches and fell in love with the numerous other brands out there on the market. To say I am addicted is an understatement! I have been published in the 2 most popular Scrapbooking Magazines here in Australia numerous times (Scrapbook Creations & Scrapbooking Memories). I was also lucky enough to serve on the RW Lasercuts Design Team this year plus I design for my own store The Scrapbooking Haven.
