"Smile and be happy" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

My layout "Smile & Be Happy"

I didn't really know what to do with this background paper.
It's so busy. I decided to give it a coat of clear gesso and then I painted the background with varying complimentary Kaisercraft mists.

I've used the

I've given it a coat of Nuvo glitter embossing powder.
Paper cluster, stitching and some black splatters finished this layout off.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

This is Awesome - Karen McLaughlin

Karen back with you to show you my page for this month's Scraplift challenge at A2Z Scraplets this month.  I have taken my inspiration from Donna's "Happy Days" page from 26.1.17.  Thanks Donna.  I hope you like my interpretation and hope you can join in the fun.

I have used "This is Awesome" word which Ihave used some texture paste, paint, kindyglitz and liquied pearls.  The other piece of chipboard I have used is this great Large Industrial Corner which I used some texture paste, prills and a flair to decorate.

Thank you so much for looking and don't forget about this month's challenge.  We love seeing your pages.

Fun times by Judith Armstrong

Good morning and welcome to another weekend. Today I have a fun layout to share with you using a few A2Z Scraplet pieces.

I used the new April Release A2Z Scraplets title Fun times. I inked it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad in chipped sapphire.

I also inked some pieces of A2Z Scraplets chicken wire which I had cut from the main piece.

There's still time to enter our April challenge to scraplift a layout from the blog. Full details can be found here

Thanks for looking

Enjoy the little things

HI everyone
Its starting to get a bit chilly here in Sydney, so thought I would
share this Wintery page with you. This page was
published in Scrapbooking Memories in the past few months also.

For the star and snowflake I have used some Radiant Neon Paint - Puffy Paint
I think it gives a great texture.
The title piece, enjoy the little things, has been heat embosssed
and painted black.
Here is the snowflake, which also has the puffy paint.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping

MOTHERS DAY

Hello ! Mary here today to share my layout with you.
With Mothers Day coming up , I thought I would create a layout using the "Mothers Day " chipboard piece from A 2 Z Scraplets

Mothers Day 2016 and my middle child surprised me by coming home, so I was one happy Mumma.

I primed the chipboard firstly with gesso and then I painted the piece with blue gelato. When I added the gold it mixed into the blue turning it a greeny blue , not what I wanted , so I  went over the word with gesso again (fixes everything ) I  got my watercolours out and painted over with blues until I was happy with the result . I then added more Colour Blast Bling paste here and there to highlight the words .
If you are in need of Mothers Day sentiments visit the shop for this and many more Chipboard words and shapes .
Happy Creating

"Sparkle" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a new layout
"Sparkle"

I chose this fabulous chipboard from the
Shine, Sparkle, Happy collection.

This chipboard got a treatment of Nuvo embossing powder and while it was still warm, I curved the chipboard so it would bend around the top of the doily.

Other elements on this page include acrylic paint background and stamping and heat embossing with the same powder. Some small floral embellishments and black ink splatters to finish.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

This Girl

Hey all, Tanya here again to share another layout with you.

One thing I really love about chipboard is that you can incorporate
it in part of a title on your layout. We all have stickers and other lettering
type items but we don't have enough to create a whole title all the same.
Why not use an A2Z Scraplets chipboard word and then use some of
your odd bod letters to finish off the title like I have on my layout.

I have embossed This Girl with black embossing powder

Thanks for stopping by - Tanya x

LOVE THIS GIRL

Hello fellow scrappers , Mary here today to share my layout using "This Girl" Chipboard piece from A 2 Z Scraplets.

To start with I embossed the chipboard with a red embossing powder , however it was not the bright red I was hoping for. So there is always a way to fix things. I then just painted over the chipboard with Kaisercraft red paint and then painted over this with Dimensional Magic to give a gloss.

This Chipboard was perfect for my title, makes life very easy. For many more fab chipboard words and shapes head over to the store  . The girls have so much inspiration here on the blog for you.
Thank you for calling by and until next time
Happy Creating

Happy Easter basket by Judith Armstrong

Good morning and welcome to the weekend. It's nearly time for the Easter bunny to arrive so I thought I'd share an Easter project today and show that you don't just have to use A2Z Scraplet chipboard on your layouts. They are also great on those Off the Page Projects.

I started off with a small wooden crate bought at a local department store. I painted it pink and added some grass, cut from green paper and a few Easter stickers.

To cap it off I used the new April release A2Z Scraplet Happy Easter 1 word.  I painted this the same pink as the crate and then smeared Bo Bunny Bubble Gum glitter paste over the top.

Here's another close up of the title.

I wish you all a Happy Easter
