Paris - Karen McLaughlin

Hi Karen back with you today.  I have used the Paris Page Frame for this page.  It is a great way of using lots of photos on one page.  You may notice on my page frame I added in a piece of chipboard from the bits I would normally throw away.  I wanted to use 2 photos so I added in a downward split to make one square into two.  This is a great frame to decorate.

Good times

Hi everyone
Today I have a share thats a little bit Bohemian
I love these exotic colours.

I have used large clusters of flowers teamed with some tassles
I love the deep rich colours so I heat embossed my large doily in a similar colour
to tie them altogether

I hope you like my page

"Create your own dreams" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Sharing a new layout "Create your own dreams"

I used the
and coated it with Colour Blast embossing Powder "Deep Water".

I've also included the Chicken wire frame.
I gave it a coat of gesso and then used Distress Ink "Blueprint Sketch" to roughly add some colour.
I've cut it up and used it in the background.

The background paper was a half started page that ended up in the reject draw.
I added Minc foil to tissue paper and then used gel medium to adhere the tissue paper to the white cardstock.
The background also features Colour Blast paste "Steel" and splatters of Colour Spray "Caribbean"

I have further embellished this page with Kaisercraft stickers and die cuts, a flair from Just Add Flair and snuck a Charms Creations tab in there too.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Selfie - Karen McLaughlin

Karen with you today showing you lots of great pieces of chipboard.  On this boy page I have used the arrow words 11.  There are 8 pieces in this pack so great value.  I have cut up the 6x6 fish netting background piece.  I have also used the negative from the Spotty Circles set of 4 frame.  Hint - don't always chuck out the negative.  Happy Christmas to you all and hope you all have a great Christmas.

Merry Christmas and a fond farewell

Hi, Judith here with my last ever blog post for A2Z Scraplets. As life has become more busy I have decided it's time to hang up my Design Team boots. I would like to thank Debra for letting me showcase her fantastic chipboard and I wish the new Designers all the best.

To end my time here I thought I would revisit some of my favourite layouts that I have created during my time on the Design Team.

My all time favourite would have to be the first layout I ever created as part of my Design Team and it has been made even more special as I lost my special boy a couple of months ago.
It was great fun zentangling on the chipboard!

My second favourite highlights the wonderful templates A2Z Scraplets sold. I loved creating the background with watercolour paints to match my daughter's artwork.

Another favourite was this one featuring 'happy' and 'Australia Day'. This probably showcases my rather eclectic style adding bits and pieces.

During my time at A2Z Scraplets, I got back to creating a few double layouts. I had such fun creating this one of our visit to London featuring the A2Z Scraplets London chipboard piece.

My final share is one of my more recent layouts. A lot of my layouts featured animals at the various zoos around Australia. A2Z Scraplets has a lot of zoo related titles and a few others that can be used for animal photos. This layout features my beloved lion cubs at Werribee Zoo. I think I have more photos of the 3 sets of cubs than my own children! (That's because they were born pre-digital cameras).

Thanks for taking time out of your Christmas schedule for remembering this journey at A2Z Scraplets with me.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Scrappy Chippy New Year!!

As you can see I have used a paint stick so that the paint is stringed out and not a block colour.Adds the different effect to the chipboard.

"# Cool" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

"# Cool"

For this page I've used my chipboard in a couple of different ways.

You'll need the Flourish 79

Firstly I've created my background with papers and given the whole thing a coat of clear gesso.
Remove the chipboard piece from the frame and use the empty frame to spray Colour Blast spray in "Rainforest" through it.
Once dry I've used the same empty frame as a stencil, tracing the leaves with a black pen.

The flourish itself has various coats of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Apple of my eye" and "Envy".
You don't need to be too particular about the coverage.
It looks more natural when it's a little rough.

I've used flowers and embellishments to help the page flow from the top left to the bottom right.

Thanks for visiting.

This Is Awesome

Good Morning!
How exciting its nearly Christmas. Can you believe that this year went so damn quick?!
Today I wanted to show you a chipboard piece that I just love, it is called

I embossed part of the chipboard with black embossing powder to make it shiny.
The IS has been covered with glossy accent and then I poured black micro beads over the
top and pushed them down slightly to ensure they stuck well.
Very simple but very effective don't you think?

I'd like to wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas.
Have a wonderful time with your family and friends xxx

New Designs and New Design Team

Hi Deb here, long time no speak. I've been very guilty of not blogging anything for quite a long time. I'll admit I'm not a big blogger at all and while I read a couple of blogs, forget to post here on occasion. So here's a preview of what's coming next month. There are a few new destination titles to add to our hugely extensive list of destinations and tourism titles. Remember if you need anything specific I do custom orders to suit the individual.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and safe New Year
Happy Scrapping
Deb

Breathtaking - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Fans.  Karen with you today showing you a very simple read and white page.  I have used a few lovely pieces of chipboard.  The first being the title - Breathtaking which I have painted and covered with liquid pearls.  I also used one of the swirly corners which I just placed alongside the photo.  The last flourish I used is called the Doodlet 25 which I cut in half to make it look bigger and placed under my photo.  Thank you for looking.
