Cherish - by Brenda Caldow

hello and welcome to A2Z Scraplets Blog, Brenda here with you today to share my page created for the challenge over at WW1. On my page I have used three fantastic A2Z Chipboards.
The photo I have used is my girlfriends daughter McKenzie when she was just a little baby and now a 6 yr/old. To her it was a very, very long time ago lol.

The flourish is in the store and is great popping out behind everything.

To create the flourish I first coated it with white Geso. Once this was dry I used Modeling paste and applied it with my finger in small peaks making sure the coverage was good.
I then heated with with my  craft heat gun and this makes it bubble in areas.
Once this was done I the sprinkled it with Lyndy's Stamp Gang Magical on a brush, sprayed it with water and dried it with my heat gun.

I have used the word Cherish from a five set of words.

For the word Cherish I coated it with White Gesso, then coated it with Modeling Paste again using my finger to apply it and then the heat gun. I left it like this to place on my plaque.

To to the plaque I give it two good coats of White Gesso allowing good drying time between coats.
I then used a bush to put little bits of Lyndy's Stamp Gang Magical here and there.
Sprayed with water and heart with my Craft Heat Gun to dry it.

Once it was dry I went around the edges just a little with Distress Ink.

This is my final May post so in keeping with this months challenge being all about the females I chose McKenzie. A little bubby female but none the less she is a special female in my life that I love very much. You still have time to join in with us this month over on the challenge Facebook so please come on over and have some fun with us.

Truly Amazing by Anne

with a layout using A2Z Scraplets Truly Amazing word  and

The A2Z Scraplets were both painted in Vermillion acrylic, then microbeads were applied. The A2Z Scraplet Truly Amazing had some microbeads applied and then the rest of the word was coated in Glossy Accents.

The layout was assembled with die cut flowers, Kaisercraft cardstock embellishments, resin hearts, and jewels.

That's Truly Amazing!!!
Cheers!

Believe - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Fans.  Today I have a page to show you which is a photo of boys but using flowers and flourishes.  I have used 2 of the three flourishes from the Vine 1 Set.  I have placed the larger one to the top and the smaller to the bottom and filled them in with flowers.  I used crackle accents over the top of the inked chipboard to give it a more veiny look.  I have also used the believe word for my title.  This comes in a pack of 4 different words.  Wishing you a great week ahead.

My Gradutation

Hello Crafty Friends. Today I am sharing another inspiration page for our May Moodboard challenge. This is my eldest daughter looking beautiful on the day of her year 12 formal.

First - another look at the May Moodboard - create a project about the women in your life, using pastel or muted shades.

I have used three lots of A2Z Scraplets chipboard on this page - a title, harlequin texture shapes and a swirly heart.

All of the chipboard on this page was primed with white gesso. To colour the harlequin shapes I stamped some mauve ink onto plastic and used this like a watercolour paint. When dry, I randomly stamped some mini hearts onto it. To finish I have inked the edges with a darker purple.

Yes I do love these!  They can be found in the SHAPES - Texture/Decorative, there are two options for the harlequin shapes, with or without a border.

The title "My Graduation" chipboard I painted with a shimmery grey/black watercolour. To help it stand out more I inked some of the lighter sections with the dark purple ink.

This can be found in WORDS - School/Education.

The swirly heart I painted with white acrylic, to give it dimension and shine I then coated it with crystal effects (glossy accents is a similar product).

There is a whole range of beautiful heart shapes in the shop; pop over and check them out. www.a2zscraplets.com.au

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Pampered Pooch

Hi everyone, Donna here with another scrappy share of our Boy
Rigby, when he was a little puppy.
For the title piece, Pampered pooch,  I have lightly stamped a black
stamp pad over the top, so as to not have it completely covered in colour (just for
something a little different) and left the puppy head raw.
And for the scribble heart frame I have painted this in the same gold paint that
I used on the background

Thankyou for looking

"Fantastic Autumn Day" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Sharing something a little different.

 "Fantastic Autumn Day"

In the A2Z Scraplets Store you will find some great "Summer, Autumn, Winter & Spring" titles.
For this page, I've used the Autumn word and decided to make it a real title focus.

I started by cutting the word "Day" with the Silhouette Cameo and then I wanted to raise it up and put some colour behind it.
The Autumn word has two coats of Colour Blast Embossing Powder "Apple of my Eye"

The colour inspiration for this page, came from the photos. Master Z playing in this fun green playground equipment.

I decided to focus on those green colours - I added Colour Blast sprays to the background and then lots of distressed stamping around the edges.

I really like how different this page is to my usual paper style layouts and as a bonus it was really easy and fun to put together.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.
