"Funny Face" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I'm sharing a new page "Funny Face"

The "Funny Face" Chipboard was the perfect choice for these photos.

I decided to focus this page on the colour orange.
So I've treated the chipboard with "Tangerine" embossing powder from Colour Blast.

The background of this page is Colour Blast Spray "Sunset" over a DCWV paper which gives an awesome resist look.

All the other embellishments come from my stash - my focus for 2018 is to start using some of the items I've already got!

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Family

Hi Tanya here again to share another layout with you.

I've used the large Hearts of a square 12 x 12 background chipboard which
I have kept natural but I've hand stitched around the inside edges of the hearts.

On this layout I have also used just the Family chipboard piece from the

Mini wordlets Family Set which comes with 5 different words in the set.
Laugh - Cherish - Dream - Family - Love

Pelican Park by Brenda

Hello crafty friends and welcome to A2Z Scraplets, it's Brenda here with you today to share a page two amazing chippies.

For both of these chipboards I have used the same method. For the Circles on circles I first coloured it with paint and then I used a glue stick and placed some glue here and there. I then used Pipe Dreams Ink Embossing Powder Eucalypt and heat melted it as normal. I reaped the same method using Sandstone and then Blue gum.

For the Pelican Park title I painted the words with Emerald Green Paint and then just used the Eucalypt with the glue stick. I love the effect of this once heated.
For the Pelican I used Light Pink Paint on the beak, White on the body and Black on the feet. Once this was done I used Tinby Metallic Melts - Silver on the Pelican body and beak along with the coating it with the glue stick first. When doing the glue stick method it separates and is a great texture. Once this was done with a black paint pen I did the eye, mouth along with some for where the feathers are.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my page and please keep scrolling to see some more wonderful inspiration from the amazing Design Team. Also hop on over o the facebook challenge page and join in with us. It's another great challenge.

Believe in Miracles by Anne

Hello everyone!
This is Anne here (AKA Gorge Iss)

Today my share with you is a layout using Believe in Miracles chipboard title available from the A2Z Scraplets shop here.

I painted the chipboard Believe in Miracles in grey acrylic paint before applying a crackle medium. When dry I rubbed a dark grey into the cracks to highlight these.
My page received an application of paint, stenciling, and stamping before die cuts and fibre were added. I finished the layout with a variety of embellishments from my collection and my beautiful title!

Cheers!

Serenity - Karen McLaughlin

Karen on the blog today with a pretty green and apricot page.  I have used some great pieces of A2Z Scraplets chipboard.  First up is the title "Serenity" which is in a lovely calligraphy font.  I have also used this lovely doily frame which I have cut in half and placed either side of my photo.  Last but not least is this is this Daisy Border which I have decorated with kindy glitz and liquid pearls.  Thank you for looking.

Dan & Phil come the Adelaide

Hi it's Carolyn here today sharing a page featuring the A2Z Chipboard "Triangle Texture 2 Shape" - which can be found in ALL SHAPES > SHAPES - Texture/Decorative at the A2Z store.

I have cut the triangle texture piece in half - it works so well as the feature element on the page. To colour the chipboard I have used several inks - chocolate brown, old road, mossy meadow and blackberry bliss (picked up by mistake - never mind!)

I have included the cat embellishment because cat whiskers are a bit of a Dan & Phil thing.

The background was created with platinum crackle paste, turquoise and amber chalk mist and random stamping in mossy meadow ink.

A2Z have a huge range of chipboard shapes/words, why not pop over to the shop and have a look http://www.a2zscraplets.com.au

"It's the little things" Christmas Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I love a good Christmas collection and mostly scrap my Christmas photos in the new year.
So today I'm sharing a way to use chipboard on a Christmas page.

My layout "It's the little things"

This page uses the adorable

I've coloured it with Distress Crayons firstly in red to help it pop off the neutral Christmas page and then with gold accents on the smaller words.

The background features

- Kaisercraft "Christmas Edition"
- Texture paste
- Distress ink through a stencil
- Colour Blast Shimmer Spray "Bling"
- Collectables and die cuts
- sequins
- washi tape
- stamping

I created this on a diagonal with the photo highlighted in the centre.

It's a busy page, but not overpowering because of the neutral palette.
I love how the chipboard really pops off the background work and helps lift the photo.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

I [heart} you

Hey there everyone

I have so many photos that I could of used with this gorgeous
A2Z Scraplets chipboard I {heart} you piece.  Small world problems hey!
Maybe I should just order more!!!!

The chipboard piece has been covered with gesso and then on the 'I' and the 'you' I have
used some distress ink that I painted on with a brush. The {heart} has been gessoed roughly,
I tried to leave it raised more bumpy like giving it more texture.
It was then painted with some red paint.

Have a wonderful week  - Tanya xx

Days Gone By by Brenda Caldow

Hello and welcome to A2Z, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page.
I have used two great chippies on my page and I will show you how I have created one of them and my title I chose to leave natural as I felt it fitted in great as it was.

Doing this scraplet is nice messy fun, well if you don't mind getting your hands dirty that is.
To start off you use modeling paste. I chose it instead of texture paste for this only because I feel it give a better result once heated. You apply it straight from the tub with your finger dabbing it on to give the effect in the picture below.

Once you have done this it's time to heat it with your heat gun but be careful not to burn it.

This is the result after heating, a really great texture.

Next I sprayed the leafy section but don't worry if some goes onto the flower heads. I'm not one to wait for things to dry so you can use your heat gun to dry the sprays.

Next I sprayed the flower heads.

Now it is time for the finishing off. I used Inka Gold rubs and again my finger and rubbed over the different sections with the desired colours I wanted.

Once this was done my chippie is finished and placed aside until I was ready to put my page together.

As I said earlier I chose to leave this chippie in it's natural form.

Now it's time for some close ups of the finished page.

Thank so much for stopping in at A2Z Scraplets today and I hope you have enjoyed seeing my page and how I created it. There are so many more creations to see by the Design Team so keep scrolling for more inspiration.
Don't forget to hop on over to the A2Z facebook page and join in on this months challenge. It sure is a great summery challenge. Happy Crafting
