"Smile and be happy" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Sharing a new scrapbook page "Smile and be happy"

This page is similar photo to a page I shared a couple of weeks ago.
This is Master Z graduating from Kindy!

I've used the Smile and be happy word
treated with Colour Blast embossing powder "Steel" on the raw chipboard.

I wanted the background to be "clean mixed media" - yep it's totally a thing.
So I've used Distress Ink, white splatters and tags to create layers.

I've also added the Frame 110 chipboard piece.

I love how chipboard looks in the background of layers. It's so great for adding texture.
I wanted a semi-raw chipboard feel, so added some stamping with the Distress Ink and a little bit of white gesso.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Cherish

Hello.....Tanya here to sharing another DT layout on the A2Z Scraplets blog.

This layout has some very simple pieces of chipboard on it but they are very
effective. Simple is often good especially on a mixed media type of layout.

The chipboard is Nested Circles and it comes with 8 different sized circles in the pack.
The other piece of chipboard that I have used on this layout and many other of my
layouts are Mini Wordlets . There are all different sorts of packs with different words,
they are perfect if you want a small title. I've chosen Cherish but could of used many
other ones that would have also been suitable.

I have covered my chipboard circles with black ink and the title I used paint.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week. Don't forget you still have a few days to enter our challenge for this month. We'd love for you to join us and play along...who knows, you could win yourself some lovely chipboard for your next layout xxx

Family, Love by Brenda Caldow

Hello all and welcome to the A2Z Scraplets Blog, Brenda here with you today to share my page I created for the challenge over at Scrap The Girls. I have used two awesome chippies on this page and both I have created a little differently.

For my title the words Family and Love also come with others in a the set. The other words are Laugh, Cherish and Dream. Its a great set I just love the words.
For the word chippies I have painted the with white paint and when this was dry I used a sponge with a little Distress Spray Stain - Tarnished brass on it. I then dabbed it here and there on both thre chippies.

For the Chicken Wire I cut pieces off the 6X6 sheet and then I used a sliver paint pen and painted the pieces. This mad it look a lot like real chicken wire.

I hope you have enjoyed papping in and please keep scrolling down to see some other wonderful creations by the Design Team. We have loads of inspiration on the A2Z Scraplets Blog and don't forget to join us in the monthly challenge over on Facebook.

"Explore, dream, discover" by Anne

Hello, its
 Anne (AKA Gorge Iss) here
with a layout made with two A2Z Scraplets, the "Dotty Twig Frame" and "Chicken wire shape"

I've cut the A2Z scraplet "Dotty Twig Frame", inked it with black Versafine ink, and placed the piece to frame my photo. I also inked the chicken wire shape in the same manner and placed pieces under the photo and under the page where I have torn.

I've used Kaisercraft paper to which I've applied acrylic paint in turquoise and white. I've then stamped over this with a variety of stamps to make the background for this page.

To finish my page, I have layered Kaisercraft collectables, veneer shapes and cardstock under my photo. I've also added bakers twine, Coco Vanilla flair and Kaisercraft diecut words.

Cheers!

Remember When - Karen McLaughlin

Hi Karen back with you today to show you a bit of a vintage page.  I love this old photo of me, my Sister and Mum and Dad.  It's so 60's.  I have used the lovely Remember When title which I inked and added a couple of dots of liquid pearly.  I have also used this lovely flourish which I placed behind the photo and cut it in half so that it showed either side of the photo.  I hope you have liked what I have shown you and hope you have a great week ahead.  Thank you for looking.

Make everyday awesome

Hi, I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. Here in SA we are enjoying some cooler weather today, a little damp, but much cooler.

Today I am sharing a page from the Tour Down Under back in 2016.

My husband and I love the TDU and this photo was taken while at the TDU village in Adelaide.

I have used the "make everyday awesome" A2Z Scraplets chipboard title. I have simply coated it with white gesso and distressed the edges with chocolate brown ink. I love this title chippie, it is bold without being too large.

Thanks for popping over and visiting our blog. Cheers!

"Hello Amazing You" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here's a new scrapbook layout to share
"Hello Amazing You"

This page features two chipboards I've combined into one title.

Firstly I gave them a coat of white gesso, then coloured with my distress crayons.
Being an Australia Day layout, I coloured the chipboard sort of like the Australian Flag.

This page features a Kaisercraft background paper which I've sprayed with Colour Blast spray in "Carribean" - leaving a lovely resist result.

I've embellished lightly with a border of washi and some small paper items.

I just love this super cheeky photo - esky in the background, Aussie Day inflatable thong and a beautiful sunny background of the dam.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Just the 2 of us

Good morning xxx

Tanya here again to share another layout with you.
My daughter and I were going through a heap of old photos the other day and found some
lovely ones that I haven't scrapped so be prepared for a few randoms in the next month or so!
There were lots of photos Leah had never seen of us before. It's important to scrap old photos
even if it for the laughs. Sure was a great trip down memory lane for me!

The chipboard I have used is Just the 2 of us. On this chipboard I have used Nuvo Crystal
drops. I've never used them on chipboard before but it is easy to use and works a treat.
The Brick work chipboard is a great pack, it comes with 4 pieces, I've actually cut one piece in half and used on my layout. I've left these pieces natural.

Experimenting

Experimenting with features

Explore the World - by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the A2Z Scraplets blog and my post for today which I have created for the challenge over at Scrap The Boys. To create my page I have used two A2Z chippies and the bricks one I have used sure is great on any page but went well with this boy page.

This is my eldest son Riley and I'm sure he will be the one to do his best to see the world.

I chose to use the Brick Work Pieces chippie and it comes with four pieces of brick work but for this page I have only used tow so I love this one as I can do another page with the other pieces.

I first painted the brick works and then I used some embossing powder here and there on it.

I chose the word Explore for my title as this was the requirement for the challenge at Scrap the Boys. I chose it from the set above which are great outdoor words

For this chippie I chose to paint it black so it popped out enough from the blues.

I hope I have inspired you a little and please keep scrolling to see what the other amazing DT ladies have been creating. Happy Crafting xxx
