Relax and Unwind

Hi Carolyn here, sharing a lovely beachy layout today.  The Relax and Unwind title says it all;  a fun relaxing day at the beach.

The title chipboard has been painted with white gesso. At the moment I am enjoying the 'white on white' look of chipboard on lighter backgrounds.

The fish net chipboard I have left raw. This comes in a 6 x 6 panel which I have cut almost in half. That is the great thing about some of the larger chipboard texture pieces, you can cut them up and use them on more than one layout.

Don't forget today is the last day to enter the Pet Challenge for March.....what will be the challenge for April.....pop back tomorrow and see!

Wishing you all a happy and safe Easter Weekend.
Cheers.

explore

Hi Heidi here today sharing with you my fun page using the word explore from the
very good  set to use on travel or day out pages.
I painted it with gesso and then beads glued on...
come and have a shop and get some fab chippies

Hello....

Hope everybody will be spending time with family over the Easter break.
I know my girls are still hoping the Easter Bunny comes hopping into their rooms to leave an easter egg or too.

Today's share is one of my friends little boy who was so excited about catching a fish for the first time.

Life Documented

I have painted the chipboard with various Dylusion Paint colours.

Here are a couple of close ups:

Smile and be happy

Hi Donna here with a Just because scrapbook page.
I love dandelions, and found myself drawn to
the butterflies and pink tones for this page.
My title piece, Smile and be happy, has been coloured with the Black,
Zig Wink of stella brush marker. It has a beautiful soft glitter finish.
And I have used 2 of the nested circles cut in half to add to both sides of my page.
These have been coloured with the brush marker as well

"So happy together" scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Time to share a new layout "So happy together"

So 2018 has seen me focus on stash busting instead of "shopping" for new supplies.
I am loving the challenge of creating with items already available to me.

Behind the photo you'll see the circular piece of black and white.
This is actually a centre piece of chipboard left overs that I've covered with washi tape and paper strips.

To title this page, I've used the "So happy together" word

Firstly I've applied a coat of Colour Blast Embossing Powder "Just Blue".
Then I've masked the "So happy" words with washi tape before painting "together" with gel medium.
While the gel medium is still sticky, I've sprinkled the whole word with glitter.

Other elements on the page are a Charm's Creation star, Colour Blast paste and lots of paper layers.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Harry Potter Party - by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to the A2Z Scraplets Blog. Brenda here with you today to share my latest page of my son Riley and his 9th Birthday. It was a Harry Potter party and A2Z have some amazing chippies for this occasion.

I just love this Harry Potter Party title.

I have done a step by step for you with this chippie.

1. Using Modeling Paste and your finger apply it by patting up and down. It will form little peaks. Also don't apply too thin.
2. Once overed with modeling paste heat with a heat gun. It will bubble but do not burn.
3. Paint with Black Gesso making sure all white is covered.
4. Spray with Perfect Pearls Mist Spray. (Perfect Copper)
5. Heat dry with heat Gun. By doing this it will only be in the bottom and not where it has bubbled.
6. Then using Viva Inka-Gold (Platinum) and your finger rub over bubbles. Cover the tops still being able to see the Perfect Copper Spray and some Black Gesso.

Next is the glasses and the wand. There two also come with a hat but I chose not to use it on this page. As doing the wand my son said I had to cut the bumps off as I didn't need them on this wand. Being a Harry Potter fan I did as instructed lol.

The glasses were quite simple. I used a Distress Marker - Black Soot to do the lens rims. For the glasses bridge and arm ends I used a Paint Pen - Sliver

For the wand I first painted it black just to make sure it was fully covered. Once this was done I then used the Viv Croco Crackling Colour (Metallic Bronze) below the handle and on the tip a Gold Paint Pen. For the handle I then placed some texture paste here and there, dried it with a heat gun. Once dry I then painted it with place paint.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to see my latest page and please keep scrolling down to see what the rest of the Design Team have been up too.

Don't for get to hop on over to the Facebook Challenge Page and join in the fun there with us. You never know you could be this months lucky winner. There's still time.
Happy Crafting xxx

The "Loving these moments" Scraplet was heat embossed in yellow embossing powder.

The engraved paisley shapes were painted. I used a white paint pen to highlight.

Relaxing - Karen McLaughlin

Hi Karen back with you today to show you a page with lots of gorgeous A2Z chipboard on it.  I have used  three  arrows from the set of 8.  I have also used half a flourish and some of the hearts from the Stars and Hearts Icon Set.  Then not forgetting the title - relaxing.  All of which I painted black and either used glossy accent, crackle accents or kindy glitz.  Thank you for looking and I hope you have a great week.

Magical Moment

Carolyn here today, and as we relax into the weekend, I am sharing a layout about relaxing while shopping.

Magical Moment

I have used the Magical Moment title chipboard by A2Z Scraplets. This was simply painted with Prima Art Alchemy acrylic paint Sparks Raven Black. I love the sparkly effect it gives to the chippie.

I have complemented the floral clusters with small chipboard flourishes, also painted with Sparks Raven Black.

Enjoy your weekend; perhaps enjoy some scrapping - there is still time to enter our Pet moodboard challenge for March!
