Happyness by Brenda Caldow

Hello and welcome to A2Z Scraplet Blog, Brenda here with you today and I would like to share a page created for a friends daughter, Ebony and Haley.
I have created the page using two different chippies, one for beside the photo the other is the title.

As well as the A2Z Chippies I have also used a couple of the Little Birdie flowers which are also available in-store so if your like me and into flowers make sure when you pop on over you take a look at them as well. A2Z chippies and Little Birdie flowers in the one place is shopping heaven for me, then delivery to the front door. :)

I chose my title from the great set above. They are a great set and you can use more than one or like I have just the one for my title.
For my word I first painted it white then very lightly I put some Dylusions Vanilla Custard paint with a brush over that but still allowed the white to show through. Once this was done and dry I then used Tinby Design Metallic Melts - Clear here and there over it to give a glossy bubbly look.

I used the two pieces on the right from this set which means I still have more for another craft project. I started by painting them white and then here and there I put some Modeling paste. I heated the Modeling Paste with my craft gun until it bubbled. Once this was done I then put some of the Dylusions paint in a light pink and the custard here and there very lightly. Once this dried I the used Tinby Metallic Melts - Silver here and there on it. If you apply it by using a glue stick and then sprinkling it on and tapping off the excess and heating till it melts you get a great bubbly separation effect. I love doing it on the chipboard this way. Also having the Modeling Paste bubbled up gives extra depth too.

I hope you have enjoyed popping in to see my latest page. Please keep scrolling down and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have to show you.
You still have today to get your entries in for the April Challenge over on Facebook and it's a great one but you only have today. The new challenge will be up tomorrow and its a lovely one for May.
Happy crafting xxx

Emma Wiggle by Anne

Hello, its Anne here

To make this layout I first layered cardstock and papers.

I then applied texture paste through a stencil.

I prepared the A2Z Scraplet  Chain Mesh panel piece by inking. I did the same for the Emma Wiggle word.

I then layered die cuts from yellow and black cardstock and arranged them with colored cheesecloth under my photo. I completed with layout with flowers, resin embellishments and yellow and black bows from my stash.

Cheers!

Magical Moment - Karen McLaughlin

Hi A2Z Fans.  Karen here to show you my page for this month's challenge.  This month you just need to use the picture for inspiration.  I have taken the chevrons and colours from the picture.  I have used this lovely Lattice shape piece which I have decorated with flowers.  I have used for my title "Magical Moment" which I have painted and used glossy accents to decorate.  There is just a few days left to get your entry in for this month's challenge.  Thanks for looking.

On an Adventure

Hello Crafty Friends. What a great day! We are enjoying some lovely sunny weather in SA. Today I am sharing a beautiful sunset layout using some of my favourite chipboard.

I just love the A2Z Scraplets harlequin texture chipboard.
It can be used in so many ways; feminine or grungy, either way it looks great.

To colour the harlequin texture chippie, I have coated it in white gesso and then painted it with a pinky/purple watercolour, when dry I added some melon watercolour.

You can find this under SHAPES - texture/decorative. There is also a pack containing a border piece. The corner/frame effect on my layout was created by cutting the chipboard and stacking three pieces on top of each other.

The title chipboard is embossed with an 'aged black' embossing powder.

This can be found under WORDS - destinations/travel.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend.

Summer Beach Days

Hi
Donna back again with another Summery share.
How beautiful is this style title!  I have used 3 different kinds
of chipboard pieces on this layout.
Summer is one word & Beach days are from a smaller set.
The Summer word has just been released this month in the store!

I have just painted the title with Dylusions paint. I have also used some arrows painted in another colour of dylusions
I have also used a Kiddie Sun and painted in dylusions to tie them all together
I hope you like this and Happy Scrapping

"xoxoxo" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

On this day in Australia we remember all those who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who served.

Image result for anzac day

Today's project is not Anzac themed, but I hope you will still enjoy it.

My layout "xoxoxo"

Not only am I stash busting my way through 2018, but I'm getting through some photos too.
This is an oldie and not a particularly clear photo but I really wanted to record it.
I chose colours reflecting the photo - navy, blue and white.

Cooper loves to tell Pop stories so I thought the "xoxoxo" chipboard word would make a great title.

I gave it a coat of white gesso, coloured with Distress Crayons and then sealed with Colour Blast "Snow White" embossing powder.

As the page was developing and I was creating layers, I added the
Chipboard Frame
simply covered with Colour Blast "Steel" embossing powder

Background featuring Colour Blast sprays.
The rest of the page features some paper layering and stickers.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Happy by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and as always welcome to A2Z Scraplets, Brenda here with you today to share my latest page. My page has a photo of my wonderful friend Lynne.

For my title I started by painting the whole word white. I then mixed Dylusions light pink with white to create a real soft colour which I then put on the bottom half only. Once this was done I used my finger to rub on a very small amount of Viva Inca Gold white. Just enough to make it pop and give it a nice shine.

My title chippie come from this set. I chose to just use the word happy.

I love this flourish, the great leaves and the way it starts out solid and goes down to the wispy ends. It has such a real look to it.

With the flourish I painted it with Dylusions Green and then flicked some paint here and there over it. It is a very simple method but also very effective.

The flowers I have used are Little Birdie and are available in the A2Z Scraplets store as well. They are such beautiful flowers. So don't forget when selecting your chippies to have a look at the other things available and you can do a one stop shop in the recliner at home. Just the way I love to shop :)

Happy crafting everyone and I hope where ever you are that you are enjoying some beautiful spring weather like i am at the moment. xxx
